Conversation/Studio Time 9.29

After expressing my concerns about where my project was going and how I wanted it to tie in more with logotyping and branding, he made a lot of good points:

1. i need to ask myself what is most important to me

2. what am i trying to get at

3. logotyping, branding and graphic design are inherently a part of greeting cards, but are greeting cards really important to you

4. the form doesnt matter right now, material processes can develop later, pick a general area to work in-i pick paper

5. with all of my images i ve found and interests, its okay to have lots of interests just find a common thread or put the new idea aside for now. 

we ended up talking about the basic concept of messages to loved ones and representing that through communication. can communication visually progress? i also thought about emilys comments about small books that she mentioned a week or so back.
