I want to make a series of cards in the theme of "kinda sorta maybe" followed by different expressions on the inside such as "think i like you" or "think your cute" or "think your really funny" or "love spending time with you". this comes from the way the people, especially in my age group, have a hard time saying exactly how they feel and being completely honest. being honest can mean putting yourself out there and exposing yourself to someone in a vulnerable way.
another section would go under the umbrella of life lessons or proverbs from things that i observe or perceive. such as, "i wonder what we have when we're not pretending" or "remember who you are and where you came from". these cards would probably be given with a particular feeling in mind, such as "get better soon" or "missing you", but the message is less cliche and direct and can be adapted to more than one situation.
the last section will be silly or even sarcastic phrases that could be used in a greeting card that may have no particular occasion or reason. these are the kind of cards that aren't particular to one life lesson, but the person in the store might pick up a card like this and buy it because they personally find it interesting. not every person would really connect to each card, but you would buy the card because you look at it and think about a person who it would make sense to send this to for whatever reason.
