I am interested in the idea of a book of visual proverbs, but would have a hard time giving up making post cards or greeting cards. The reason for this is I like the concept of a postcard or a greeting card being sendable art, tangible, and personal. Would it work to create things that could both go into a book of visual proverbs and be the artwork for postcards?

Suggestions
After the workshop, some of the suggestions I received were to 1. narrow my focus product wise-Phoebe suggested making a book of visual proverbs based on my topic. She also said that it is much more important to make one cohesive piece rather than to worry about producing a product line (postcards, greeting cards, posters, and a graphic novel would be too much and too scattered, not making sense)
